Welcome to my blog! This blog will walk you through my orthognathic journey including braces and bimaxillary jaw surgery on September 9, 2008. My proposed treatment plan was Lefort I osteotomy, bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSO) with occlusal plane correction. More specifically, he did a one piece Lefort I with upper impaction and advancement and lower advancement and rotation(all with rigid fixation). I was banded and did not have a splint.

Oh, you look so pretty! Bright colors really highlight your hair nicely.
It is cool how so much of your swelling went down about 5-6 weeks ago, but then these pics show how much *less* swelling you have even now. Once again, your posts encourages those of us a few steps behind.
I just had my braces put on last week. My surgery (lower jaw) is scheduled for around December 2009. My blog on progress is at http://my-adult-braces.blogspot.com/
