Welcome to my blog! This blog will walk you through my orthognathic journey including braces and bimaxillary jaw surgery on September 9, 2008. My proposed treatment plan was Lefort I osteotomy, bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSO) with occlusal plane correction. More specifically, he did a one piece Lefort I with upper impaction and advancement and lower advancement and rotation(all with rigid fixation). I was banded and did not have a splint.

You are so hardcore :D I'm glad you finally got some water... hope you are getting some sleep!
Is the tube coming out like that scene in Iron Man??
Wow, you're seriously raising the bar for post-surgery updates. Glad to see you're doing so amazingly well!
Have you had anesthetic before? Do you usually feel really good afterwards? I do - but I think it's pretty rare - don't know anyone else it has that effect on. Biology is darn strange.
Thank god that tube is out and you have been disconnected from the Borg collective.
Laura, I have been under anasthesia before, but it was for a tonselectomy when I was 5, so I don't remember what kind of enery I had then. But I have been very surprised by the amount of energy I do have, in fact I probably pushed it a bit today and am trying to take things easy now.
